HOW LONG WILL YOU TELL YOURSELF NO?
Last Sunday, I hosted my first VISION 2017 Workshop along with two lady boss friends of mine. Overall all, I felt very pleased about the turnout and execution of the event and am psyched to plan the next event this coming March.
During the week, thoughts about the event kept popping into my head and I was working hard to "eat my own dog food" as I say, and follow all of the tips and tricks we outlined in the workshop to have the most fabulous year ever! Many of these involve new daily habits to net the results that I want in my life for 2017.
Creating new habits is really hard, but in order to create lasting change in your life, you must begin new habits that will lead you to the very things or feelings you want in your life. Habits happen one day at a time and it can be difficult at first but keep trying and it will begin to feel like a normal part of your daily routine and soon, and then it will happen without much thought or effort.
I recommend that you start with something small and easy to manage. Noting crazy that might cause World War III at your house but concepts and actions that will give you a 90% success rate.
Let's say that you want to feel less rushed in the morning. One thing that used to kick my butt every morning was figuring out what to wear. I used to waste a seriously amount of time every morning trying on different outfits and getting frustrated while running out of time to get out the door.
To combat this and use the time for something much more meaningful for me like morning meditation, I did the following: 1) I installed a hook on my closet door. 2) I began to review my calendar at the end of each work day so I knew what I had coming up the next day. 3) Before I went to bed each night, I would check the weather and then pick my out my outfit for the next day and hang it on the hook. The whole process takes 5-7 minutes but it gives me so much in the morning and no stress in getting ready.
So what are you waiting for? What do you want in your life and what habits do you need to develop to get what you want? Is it to feel better, lose weight, exercise more, eat better, have more fun, spend more time with your partner or girlfriends, travel more or build your business? Whatever it is, without putting into place the right habits you are telling yourself "NO" to having those things.

So ladies if you want to make impactful changes in your life this year, start with curating some new habits that will lead you to the life and feelings you want. And please stop habits that turn your "grass" brown.
