Now that the holidays are over, I don't know about you, but I am so dang tired of cooking big fancy dinners with tons of butter and calories (Sorry Ina!)
Last week I was seeking out some cozy but healthy dishes to add to my winter dinner repertoire. It was also helpful that ground turkey was on sale for $2.99 a pound. In my google research I found a treasure trove of deliciousness!
This week I wanted to share some of the new recipe finds with you. I was interested in making my standard recipes a bit more healthy by using ground turkey, eat better in the new year and still meet the needs of the rest of my family. I have a teenage boy....they eat a lot!
So girlfriend if you are getting what I am laying down, check out these new recipes below.
I took a couple of hours on Sunday put on the Sex in the City movie and channeled my inner Carrie Bradshaw and made three of the dishes in one night. This way I could just pull one out and reheat it for leftovers or have easy lunches for the rest of the week.
All of these are healthy, delicious and easy. The killer combo for any recipe that I make!
